Chris Toner has called Arnprior home for decades. With long-established family roots, lifelong friendships and a strong connection to the community, staying in Arnprior was an easy decision.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Carleton University, graduating in 1993. He has built a career as the owner and operator of Chris Toner Landscaping, established in 1999, and is also co-owner of Cold Bear Brewing Co., established in 2022.
Outside of business, Chris has spent decades giving his time to local organizations, service clubs, committees and community initiatives.
He believes Arnprior is a special place to live, work and raise a family, and he's proud to continue contributing to the community he calls home.

From operating a local landscaping business, his brewery, to volunteering with community organizations, Chris has spent decades working alongside the people and businesses that make Arnprior what it is. Chris brings a combination of professional experience, community involvement and municipal service to the council table.
8 Years on Council
Chris first ran for council eight years ago because he believed Arnprior needed a more diverse range of voices and perspectives around the council table.
At 48, he was the youngest member of council at the time.
Chris believes Arnprior benefits when different generations and perspectives are represented in municipal decision-making.
